Hebrew School of the Arts Policies & Enrollment Information
1. Safety & Supervision
The safety and well-being of every child is our highest priority.
- Only children enrolled in the Hebrew School of the Arts may be dropped off for the program. Children who are not enrolled may not be left unattended at Chabad for safety and liability reasons.
- Students will only be released to a parent, legal guardian, or another adult who has been authorized by the parent via phone call or text message to Rabbi Chaim or Mrs. Sarale Rivkin.
- Parents are expected to read all school communications promptly and respond in a timely manner when a reply or action is requested.
2. Tuition & Payment
- Tuition payments must be submitted promptly through the designated payment plan unless alternative arrangements have been made with the Hebrew School directors.
- Refund requests for cancellations or withdrawals will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
3. Snacks
Please send your child to Hebrew School each week with:
- A labeled water bottle or drink
- A nut-free, meat-free snack
If your child has any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please notify us before the school year begins.
4. Health & Medical Authorization
In the event of a medical emergency, I authorize the Hebrew School of the Arts director or designated staff member to obtain emergency medical treatment for my child, including transportation to a medical facility and any treatment deemed necessary by a licensed physician.
Every reasonable effort will be made to contact a parent or guardian and the listed emergency contacts before treatment is administered.
Parents or guardians are responsible for any medical or dental expenses incurred.
By enrolling my child, I certify that, to the best of my knowledge, my child is in good health. I agree to notify the Hebrew School immediately if my child develops or is exposed to a contagious illness. If a child becomes ill during the school day, the Hebrew School reserves the right to require that the child be picked up, and parents agree to comply with the director's decision.
5. Photography & Media Release
Unless otherwise requested in writing, permission is granted for Hebrew School of the Arts and Chabad of Kirkland to use photographs, video, audio recordings, artwork, or other creative work featuring or created by my child for educational, promotional, and program-related purposes, including print materials, social media, websites, and other Chabad publications.
