Imagine your child walking through the doors with excitement, eager to create, discover, sing, bake, build, and explore.

Imagine classrooms filled with laughter, meaningful conversations, music, art, and hands-on experiences that make Judaism come alive.

Imagine your child leaving each week with new friendships, lasting memories, and a deeper connection to their Jewish identity.

Welcome to Hebrew School of the Arts.

A Different Kind of Hebrew School

At Hebrew School of the Arts, we believe every child learns differently.

That's why we've created an engaging, creative, and welcoming environment where Judaism is experienced—not simply taught.

Through art, music, drama, cooking, STEAM projects, games, and interactive learning, students discover the beauty and relevance of Jewish life while building confidence and pride in who they are.

Whether your family has years of Jewish education or is just beginning the journey, every child is welcomed with warmth, encouragement, and joy.

No synagogue membership is required.

Our Mission

Our mission is to inspire every child to develop a lifelong love of Judaism by creating joyful Jewish experiences that nurture creativity, curiosity, and connection.

We strive to help every student:

  • Build a strong and proud Jewish identity
  • Discover the beauty and meaning of Jewish traditions
  • Develop lifelong friendships
  • Learn Hebrew with confidence
  • Connect to Israel and the Jewish people
  • Practice kindness, responsibility, and compassion
  • See Judaism as exciting, meaningful, and relevant

We believe Hebrew School should be something children look forward to every week—and the beginning of a lifetime of Jewish learning.

  • Hebrew letter recognition
  • Reading fluency
  • Confidence
  • Comprehension

Individual attention ensures every child experiences success.

Jewish Holidays & Traditions

From Rosh Hashanah through Shavuot, students celebrate every Jewish holiday through meaningful, hands-on experiences.

Instead of simply learning about the holidays, children create, taste, sing, build, and celebrate them.

Jewish Values

Our classrooms emphasize timeless Jewish values including:

  • Kindness
  • Respect
  • Gratitude
  • Responsibility
  • Giving (Tzedakah)
  • Caring for others

Children learn how Jewish values guide everyday life and inspire them to make a positive difference in the world.

Jewish History & Heritage

Students explore the incredible story of the Jewish people—from the stories of the Torah through modern-day Israel.

Lessons encourage questions, discussion, and a personal connection to our shared history and traditions.

Israel

Students develop a meaningful connection to Israel through its culture, history, people, and traditions, fostering pride in being part of the worldwide Jewish community.

Prayer & Synagogue Life

Students become comfortable with the Siddur and gain an understanding of Jewish prayer, synagogue traditions, and the meaning behind the prayers they will use throughout their lives.

Bar & Bat Mitzvah Preparation

Our program prepares students for their Bar or Bat Mitzvah with confidence, providing the Hebrew reading skills, prayer knowledge, and Jewish understanding needed to celebrate this important milestone with pride.
